assembly instructions
1.
Place the seat, cushioned side down, on a flat
surface and assemble a seat hook to each corner
of the seat. Firmly tighten the screws to prevent
the hooks from sliding or turning.
Caution:
The “L” shaped hook must be located in the corner
indicated by the arrow above.
2.
Caution:
Ensure that the seat stops are positioned as shown on
both seat rails to prevent the seat from sliding forward.
Each screw and nut should be tight enough to prevent
the stop from moving without deforming the end of
the seat rail, which would prevent easy folding of the
shower commode chair.
3.
To install the seat, open the chair to its full width
and place the seat on the seat rails by the hooks
with the two “J” hooks on the seat rails with the
front hook located behind the seat stop. Lower the
other side of the seat until it rests on the seat rails.
4.
To remove the seat, lift the seat rails about 1 inch
to narrow the chair, then lift the seat out of the
chair. The chair can now be folded completely.
Caution:
The curved edge of the seat must be at the rear of the
chair. Lift the seat rails about 1 inch, which allows the
remaining hooks to engage the seat rails, then push
down on the seat, which will open the chair to it’s full
width and lock the seat in place.
Caution:
Make certain that the front hooks are butted against
the back of the seat stops prevent the seat from sliding
forward.
