Warranty measures
The buyer must immediately notify the seller of a faulty Drop pool or its part. When
making the error notification, mention the following information: the name/model
of the pool, purchase and installation date, the type of defect, photographs of the
defect and conditions when the defect was first detected.
Drop Design Pool Oy or a maintenance agent authorised by Drop Design Pool Oy is
responsible for verifying and fixing the defects. A faulty pool will be fixed by repair,
maintenance or changing the faulty parts within a reasonable amount of time or, at
Drop Design Pool Oy’s sole discretion, by changing the faulty pool to a completely
new pool.
The buyer must make sure that the repairman can access the pool. Costs incurred by
disassembling the terrace or other built structure, removing the pool or reinstalling
the pool are invoiced from the buyer. When the pool is sunk into the terrace, we
recommend making a maintenance hatch from where it’s possible to descend to the
pool and potential accessories. If the measures do not require special competence,
they will be taken care of with the help of phone support or another corresponding
method. The buyer must accept this operating method when it’s based on the seller’s
experience about repairs. If the seller or manufacturer requests information, such as
photos, to be able to assess the necessary measures, the buyer must do their part. The
seller’s responsibility is limited to delivering a new product, maintenance or a certain
refund of the purchase price according to the seller’s discretion. The seller cannot be
held liable for direct or indirect damage, defects caused by them or the buyer’s losses.
Refund for/invoicing a warranty part
The manufacturer must be given the opportunity to examine the notified warranty
matter. The buyer must follow the manufacturer’s instructions. The refunded or
changed original part must be returned to Drop Design Pool Oy for examination. If
the part is not returned for examination, the replacement will be invoiced just as any
other regular purchase unless otherwise agreed.
