Give a couple of short burst of clean dry air (Figure 31). If there is excessive water in the OPC,
you will notice water mist coming back out of the hole as you spray into it. Keep applying
short bursts until no water mist comes out.

Replace the instrument’s protective housing, and replace the two 2-56 screws holding the
Beam Dump to the OPC block (Figure 32)

Turn power back on and verify

voltage has returned to normal operating
value (0 -.4 V).

Repeat if necessary. Contact DMT for further help if normal operating value cannot be
achieved.

Reinstall the Beam Dump, ensuring that the O-ring is in place and the orientation is correct.
