or clean the transverse lung pipe. If the generator is powered up during disassembly or cleaning you risk personal
injury or damage to the system.
1)
Locate the blue down-
arrow on the generator’s control panel
a
nd press it eight times to bring up the “Service
Mode” menu.

Press the OK button. This moves
the lung’s
actuators into a safe position for cleaning the transverse lung pipe.
3)
Power down the generator (by turning its main power switch to OFF) and remove the power cord from the
power socket (for added safety).
NOTE: You must power down the Individual Cigarette Puff Generator before accessing or cleaning the
transverse lung pipe.
4)
Using the hex key provided in the maintenance kit, unscrew and remove the five hex nuts (Fig 28) on the
cartridge attachment plate.
