Start Up
If the power up (from Standby mode or otherwise) is successful, the appropriate interface

adapter equipped with a hidden custom antenna.

detect all 802.11 access points in the vicinity for you to select the access point of
your choice for connec

he SSID and WEP/WPA/WPA2 (if enabled) parameters on the DT395BT and the ac-
cess points have to match. The SSID is case-sensi

ve and it is recommended that you
enable WEP/WPA/WPA2 encryp

Powering ON and OFF
To ac
ti
vate the DT395BT, push and quickly release the Power Bu
tt
on. The display will
come on in a few seconds. To put the DT395BT in Standby mode, push and quickly release
the Power Bu
tt
on. To turn the DT395BT o
ff
for extended storage, power o
ff
safely using
any so
ft
ware func
ti
on that “shuts down computer” provided in the so
ft
ware opera
ti
ng
system.
NOTE:
The ba
tt
ery packs shipped with your tablet may be low in power—please use the
AC-DC adapter with the DT395BT when se
tti
ng up for the
fi
rst
ti
me to fully charge
the internal ba
tt
ery pack. You may charge the external ba
tt
ery pack with it a
tt
ached
to the DT395BT, or with the op
ti
onal external ba
tt
ery charger kit.
NOTE:
When the ba
tt
ery pack(s) is (are) charging, the blue-colored Ba
tt
ery LED should
blink slowly. If plugging in the AC-DC adapter does not trigger this blinking ac
ti
vity
and the LED stays dark, the ba
tt
ery pack(s) may have been drained substan
ti
ally. Try
unplugging/ replugging the AC-DC adapter to the DT395BT a few
ti
mes to ac
ti
vate
the charging process.
NOTE:
To conserve power, use (push and quick release) the Power Bu
tt
on to put in
“Standby” mode while not in use. Pushing brie
fl
y on the same bu
tt
on will wake up
the system within seconds.
NOTE:
Avoid using the Power Bu
tt
on (“hold 4+ seconds” feature) to turn o
ff
the tablet—this
form of hardware shutdown is intended to be a means of recovery from lockups, and
not as normal opera
ti
on.
