3. FUNCTIONS
3.1 READ FAULT CODES FROM ECU
This function used to read fault codes stored in ECU of PGM-FI /FI
motorcycles, reading fault codes though data link connector
(DLC).
Step 1
: Turn off ignition key
Step 2
: Connect DLC cable to MOTOSCAN machine
Step 3
: Connect DLC cable to DLC connector of motorcycle follow guide
Step 4
: Turn on ignition key
Step 5
:
Press start pedal or start button for crank spin about 10
sec. or more
Step 6
: Select “
CONNECT TO VEHICLE
” menu from main interface of the
screen then press
“Enter/ OK”
button. The screen displays list of
motorcycle brands.
