3.14.4 Check generator and charging system status
Step 1
: Connect battery-checking cable between MOTOSCAN and
motorcycle follows the guidebook.
NOTES
:
Connect correct electrical terminal of cable to battery
(red clamp to the
positive battery, black clamp to the negative battery).
Step 2:
Supply feed power for MOTOSCAN by the power cable or power
adapter 220VAC-12VDC.
Step 3
: In main interface of the screen, select "
SPECIAL TEST MODE
"
menu then press the "
Enter/ OK
" button.
Step 4:
Select the "
GENERATOR
” menu to check the voltage output of
generator then press the "
Enter/ OK
" button.
Step 5:
Actions accordance with the instructions on screen then press the
"
Enter/ OK
" button.

Step 6:
Start the engine then press “
Enter/ OK
” button.
Step 7:
Wait for a moment the screen display status of charging system
3.15 CONNECT WITH MOTOBOX TO SUPPLEMENT FUNCTIONS
3.15.1 Check component fault inside ECM (ECU Tester)
Test quantity of ECMs for HONDA, YAMAHA, PIAGGIO/VESPA according to
the order.
You connect MOTOSCAN, MOTOBOX and ECM as below screen:
