There are no contraindications for the use of the breastpump. No adverse effects were identified regarding
the use of Kolor breast shields.

Precautions for use
Do not use with a breast pump with free
control. Do not use with a central vacuum
hospital system. If the Kolor breast shield
becomes deformed, immerse it in boiling water
for a few minutes.

Verify the contents of the Expression Kit
and the condition of the component parts
prior to use.
Preparation
The Expression Kit has to be dismantled before cleaning.
Manual
cleaning
Method:
a.Clean the breast shield and the collection container with a food detergent by
dipping, brushing and/or swabbing.
b.Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
Automated
cleaning
It is possible to wash accessories (breast shield, collection container and cap) to the
dishwasher at 60°C maximum.
Warning: it is recommended to use a food detergent.
Drying
The temperature should not exceed 60°C.
Packaging
Accessories (breast shield, collection container, cap, silicone tube) must be placed
dismantled in bags compatible with moist heat sterilization. The breast shield should
be left perfectly free in the bag.
Sterilization
Autoclave:
125°C - 30 minutes or 134°C - 18 minutes

Place the bags on the edge, do not stack breast shields
•
Do not tighten the bags in baskets
Breast shields, collection containers, caps and silicone tubes are designed to
withstand 50 sterilization cycles. The interface bottle must not be sterilized. It is
therefore important to replace it as soon as it has been soiled.
Warning: A slight deformation of the breast shield soft part can be observed after
sterilization, without impacting the good functioning of the device.
