PULIZIA GENERALE
con panni puliti;
scamosciata per asciugare;
non usate mai solventi, benzina, alcool o petrolio,
per evitare di danneggiare la vernice;
Attenzione
I freni talvolta non possono rispondere
dopo il lavaggio della motocicletta. Non date mai
grasso o alcun tipo di lubrificante sui dischi. Il
risultato potrebbe essere perdita della frenata e
causare altri incidenti.
provvedete alla pulizia generale;
vuotate il serbatoio della benzina mantenendolo
sollevato sull’astina di servizio (vedi pag. 164) e
rimuovendo il tappo di scarico con guarnizione;
pareti interne;
pneumatici;
togliete la batteria e mantenetela carica ed
GENERAL CLEANING
Periodically clean and wash the motorcycle as
required by use and road conditions:
Clean the engine using water and soap and dry
with clean cloth.
Sponge down the painted parts with water and
soap and dry with chamois leather.
Never use solvents, gasoline, alcohol or paraffin
to avoid damage to paintwork.
Be careful not to wet electric items.
Warning
Braking performance may be impaired
immediately after washing the motorcycle.
Never grease or lubricate the brake discs. Loss
of braking and further accidents may occur.
Clean the discs with an oil-free solvent such as
acetone.
STORING THE BIKE AWAY
If the motorcycle is to be left unridden over long
periods, it is advisable to carry out the following
operations before storing it away:
clean the motorcycle;
empty the fuel tank; lift it and support it with the
suitable support rod (see page 164) then undo
the drain plug with its seal;
pour a few drops of engine oil into the cylinders
through the spark plug seats, then crank the
engine by hand a few times so a protective film
of oil will spread on cylinder inner walls;
place a stand under the engine to raise wheels
off ground and deflate the tyres;
remove the battery and keep it well charged and
efficient. Battery should be checked and charged
whenever the motorcycle has been left unridden
for over a month;
NETTOYAGE GENERAL
routes:
lavez le moteur à l’eau et savon et séchez-le
avec des chiffons propres;
chamois pour sécher;
peinture;
veillez à ne pas mouiller les composants
électriques.
Attention
réalisez un nettoyage général;
en ôtant le bouchon de vidange avec joint;
internes;
