WHAT TO DO IF A FAULT OCCURS
The user should know what to do if a fault occurs. This is described in detail in “Part
4- what to do if a Fault occurs” of the USER HANDBOOK FOR PHOTOVOLTAIC
POWERED REFRIGERATOR.
Part 4 defines a procedure which the user should follow if a fault occurs, it is
important that this procedure be fully understood. As the repair technician you should
talk to and work with the user to make sure that the user can correctly identify the
symptoms of a fault.
Symptoms divide into three basic areas:
1.
The refrigerator is too warm (above 8
0
C) and the compressor is not running.
2.
The refrigerator is too warm (above 8
0
C) and the compressor is running.
3.
The refrigerator is too cold.
After you sure the user can identify the symptoms of a fault check that he of she
knows which checks and actions correspond with the symptoms of the fault. (These
are described as page 23 of the USER HANDBOOK)
