UNPACKING
State of Massachusetts:
The installation
must be made by a licensed plumber or
gas fitter in the Commonwealth of Mas
-
sachusetts.
Sellers of unvented propane or natural
gas-fired supplemental room heaters shall
provide to each purchaser a copy of 527
CMR 30 upon sale of the unit.
In the State of Massachusetts the gas
cock must be a T-handle type. The State
of Massachusetts requires that a flexible
appliance connector cannot exceed three
feet in length.
1. Remove packing strips.
2. Remove the top carton tray and 4 corner
supports.
3. Remove the outer carton and upper foam
packing containing the 4 standoff brack
-
ets with hardware. Retain standoffs and
hardware pack for later installation.
4. Remove the box containing the front frame
assembly and hardware kit. Set aside for
later installation.
5 Lift the fireplace out of the bottom foam
packing and lower carton trays. Instal
-
lation manual and Fire-glass media are
located inside the unit.
6. At this time, only remove the protective
plastic film from the fireplace surface if it is
necessary for assembly to avoid scratch
-
ing the stainless steel.
The protective
plastic film must be removed prior to
igniting the appliance.
7. Check contents for any shipping damage.

your dealer where you bought the appli

ance or call our technical support, at the
number shown on page 28.
