Stitch prohibited area
The position at which the folding knife and a stitch
coincide is called the stitch prohibited area.
During folding operations, the folding knife may bend the
stitch if they touch.
When a standard stitching position determined by the
paper width entered is inside the stitch prohibited area, the
position avoids this area automatically.

Side stitching (corner stitching)
The stitching position is about 6 mm/0.24 inch from the
leading edge of the paper, and cannot be changed
vertically.
The stitching position along the width of the paper is the
same as saddle stitching.
