ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

TOOLS NEEDED

Drill with #2 Phillips drill bit or
   Phillips Screwdriver
Hammer or Mallet

ARBOR SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY

(Refer to Drawing 1) (Make 2)

On a clean flat surface lay two of 61” bent tubes down using the Drawing as your guide.  Slide the horizontal cross

rails over bent tubes in the order shown on Drawing 1.

Note:

Bent tubes are marked with a black mark on

inside of tube to indicate top end.

     (Refer to Drawing 2)
Lay one of the left posts so the routed holes are facing up and the pilot holes for screws are facing you.  Insert the
horizontal cross rails from original assembly into the arbor post.  Then add the bottom rail in the last routed hole of

post and slide the bent tubes into the outer holes of the bottom rail.  Press the right post over the opposite ends of the
cross rails.  Lay the panel flat, (make sure cross rails are completely in both posts) and fasten with

1 ¼"

 screws. Snap

the screw caps over the screw heads.

Stand arbor panel up and slide the straight tube through the center holes.  Snap the 5/8” tube caps on top the tubes.
(Warming the caps in your hands or in warm water will make caps easier to apply.)

ARBOR TOP ASSEMBLY

     (Refer to Drawing 3)

Set one of the panels on end and slide the end of each bent arbor top rail through the slots at the top of the arbor
posts.  Slide the other panel over the opposite ends of the bent arbor top rails.  (The screw caps on the side panels

should face the outside of the arbor.)  Make sure the bent arbor top rails slide through the arbor posts so that two sets
of holes on bent rails are outside the side panel.

   Note:

Arbor is designed to measure 40” wide inside the posts; however, it can be expanded to 48” by leaving only

one tube on the outside of the panels.

ARBOR TOP – CROSS TUBES

Gently flex the 26 ¾” tubes and insert the center 7 tubes between the side panels, and then add the remaining 4 tubes
that go outside the side panels.  Measure between the side panels for desired width and center the side panels between
the tubes.  Fasten the center tube and the outer two tubes to the bent arbor top rails with

¾"

screws.  Fasten the

posts to the bent arbor top rails using 1 ¼" screws.  Snap screw caps over screw heads.

Using the PVC Glue included; apply glue to the inside edges of the 7/8 x 1.5” molded caps and press onto the ends of
the bent arbor top rails, do the same for the 2 x 2” caps and set on the tops of the arbor posts.  Arbor is now ready for

installation (See Ground Anchor Hardware Bag).
