* Following are the procedures for draining gasoline from your generator before storing it:
•
Unscrew the fuel tank cap.
•
Remove the debris screen.
•
Use a hand siphon (commercially available) to empty tank.
•
Reinstall the debris screen and fuel tank cap.
•
Remove the side panel and loosen the carburetor drain screw.
•
Drain the gasoline from the carburetor into a container as per the engine owner’s manual.
•
Please refer to the engine owner’s manual for preparing the engine for storage.
You can get severely burned or injured when handling
gasoline. Fuel is highly flammable and can be explosive.
Only handle fuel outdoors and keep sparks, heat, and flames
away. Immediately wipe up any spills.
