Monitoring the fuel level
When adding fuel, turn the generator off and let it cool
at least 2 minutes before removing the gas cap.
After waiting for 2 minutes, remove the fuel tank cap and
check the fuel level.
Refill the fuel tank if the fuel level is low but do not fill above
the upper level mark.
Using caution when refueling the tank
After refueling, tighten the fuel tank cap securely and wipe up any gasoline that may have spilled:
Fuel can damage components of your generator such as metal, rubber, paint, and plastic.
Note: Damage caused by spilled fuel is not covered under warranty.
Fuel vapor is highly flammable and could ignite after your generator is started. After
refueling, wipe up any spilled fuel before restarting your generator. Store your gasoline
away from sparks and flames.
Check the level of your generator’s fuel tank every time before starting it. The fuel level
must be between the minimum and maximum capacity lines.
