Risk of damage
Improper use of the handtruck may cause damage to the
handtruck itself or to the goods being transported.
− Always load the handtruck in such a way that the centre of the load is on the
middle of the carrier plate.
− Where required, secure the load using straps.
− Always position heavier objects at the bottom.
− Always load the handtruck in such a way that you are able to hold the handle
without any obstruction.
− When loading the handtruck, ensure that your vision is not restricted as a result of
a load which Is piled too high.
− Do not modify or make changes to the handtruck in any way that could
compromise its capacity, stability or safety.
− Only use the replacement parts provided by the manufacturer.
Checking the handtruck and package contents
1. Check to make sure that the delivery is complete(see
Fig. A
and
B
).
2. Take the handtruck out of the packaging and check whether the handtruck or
individual
parts exhibit any signs of damage. If this is the case, do not use the handtruck.
3. Remove the packaging material and dispose of it in an appropriate manner.
