Dual Voltage Meter

WARNING!
This unit is only suitable for 12/24 volt electrical systems. The unit must be connected in the order
described below. Failure to do this may result in damage to the unit.
Operation
The 12/24 volt dual battery voltage monitor, can be set for high and low voltage warning levels on 2
battery circuits, warning is indicated by highlighting the voltage on the display and an integral buzzer
can also be enabled. The warning is delayed 5 seconds to prevent spurious warnings. The monitor also
has a clock function and automatic sleep functions.
Installation Instructions
1. Decide the location where you intend installing the meter and cut out a hole w 42 x h 49mm. Ensure
there is a minimum clear depth of 20mm.
2. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cables from battery 1 and battery 2
3. Connect the 3 wires as following:
Connect the Black wire to the negative (-) terminal of battery 1
Connect the Red wire to the positive (+) terminal of battery 1
Connect the Blue wire to the positive (+) terminal of battery 2
4. Reconnect the negative (-) battery cables to battery 1 and battery 2.
5. Use the screws provided to fix the meter in position.
Initial set up
1. Keep the “MODE” button pressed for 5 seconds to enter into (change to) initial set up mode.
2. Press “SET” to select desired language.
3. Keep “MODE” button pressed for 2 seconds to finish basic set up and return to display mode
screen.
Set up mode
Press “SET” button and hold for 2 seconds to enter set up mode. Note: Battery 1 displayed as “Volt 1”
and Battery 2 as “Volt 2”. Adjust the settings by pressing the up arrow or the down arrow buttons until
desired value is reached. Press “SET” button to confirm the settings and move to the next stage.
•
Volt 1 High
Set high warning level of Battery 1 within range 13.0v - 32.0v.
•
Volt 1 Low
Set low warning level of Battery 1 within range 0.0v - 32.0v but less than level in
Volt 1 high.
•
Volt 2
Enable/Disable Battery 2 monitoring.
•
Volt 2 High
Set high warning level of Battery 2 within range 13.0v - 32.0v.
•
Volt 2 Low
Set low warning level of Battery 2 within range 0.0v - 32.0v but less than level in
Volt 2 high.
•
Brightness
Set brightness level within range from 1-10.
•
Sleep Brightness
Set brightness level when in sleep mode within range OFF - 10.
•
Sleep time
Set the time delay before unit enters sleep mode with a range of 1-10 mins.
•
Buzzer
Enable/Disable warning buzzer.
•
Clock
Adjust the clock/time using up arrow for hour and down arrow. Note the clock is 24 hr
•
Finish
Set all stages and return to display mode screen.
