Remove the bobbin case top parts (3) along with the bobbins.
3.
Turn the handwheel to move the machine head to the
loop stroke
position and lock the machine head in place using the locking peg.
4.
Check the position of the hook tips to the needles.
5.
Swivel up the machine head (

Remove the plastic stoppers (4).
7.
Loosen the screws found below the plastic stoppers (4).
8.
Turn the hook manually until the hook tips are level with the middle
of the needles.
9.
Tighten the first screw found below the plastic stoppers (4).
10. Remove the locking peg.
11. Continue to turn the machine and tighten the second screw.
12. Press the plastic stoppers (4) back into the holes.
13. Swivel down the machine head (

Proper setting
In the loop stroke position, the distance (1) from the top edge of the
needle eye to the tip of the hook must be 1.5 mm.
You set the distance by using the measuring bridge (3) (part number
0212 004942) and the measuring pin (2) (part number 0216 001070).
To set the needle holder height:
1.
Remove the throat plate.
2.
Turn the needle bar to the loop stroke position.
