Alarm Function
- This set is equipped with 2 alarm modes: buzzer and radio. Before setting up
the alarm, make sure to set the clock.
ALARM TIME SETTING
1. At standby mode, press and hold AL-SET key until the wake up source is
flashing.
2. Press TUNE- or TUNE+ key to select the wake up source from radio (rad) or
buzzer (bu).
3. Press AL-SET key to confirm and the unit will flash the display hours.
4. Press TUNE- or TUNE+ key to set the hour for your alarm.
5. Press AL-SET key to confirm and now the minutes will flash.
6. Press TUNE- or TUNE+ key to set the minutes for your alarm.
7. Press AL-SET key to complete and confirm the alarm time setting.
AUTOMATIC POWER OFF SLEEP FUNCTION
- There is a special sleep timer function which can automatically switch off the
unit. This is useful for sleeping to music at night.
- At any time while the unit is operating, press and hold the sleep key to
access the “sleep time”. Then press the SLEEP key repeatedly to choose the
automatic off time. The SL symbol will be shown on the display.
ELECTRONIC VOLUME CONTROL
- This unit uses an electronic volume control (push button type).
- To increase or decrease the loudness of unit, press
The volume up (+) or volume down (-) keys respectively.
- Release the key when the volume is at your desired level.
DIMMER FUNCTION
This set has a dimmer function to adjust the brightness level of the display.
You may adjust it by pressing the dimmer key
Repeatedly (high/ normal/ off = brightness 100/ 50/ 0)
In order to save energy, the display will always return to normal
Brightness after you reset the unit.
- Whenever the alarm switches on, it can be temporarily switched off for a
short period of approximately 6 minutes, by pressing the SNOOZE key once.
- The alarm will then automatically switch on again after approximately 6
minutes after the “snooze” period has ended.
- The procedure can be repeated for approximately an hour.
ALARM OFF SETTING
At standby mode, press the AL-SET key once. The AL symbol will then
disappear from the display to indicate that the alarm is off.
ALARM MODE SETTING
1. Radio: tune in to the desired station prior to putting the unit on standby mode.
2. The wake up volume level will automatically rise from level 0 - 16 (minimum).
You may increase the volume above level 16 if you require.
3. The alarm timer will automatically turn off after an hour.
