2.4.1 Instructions about alarm input end:

Alarm input:

8 channel voltage alarm inputs (Both Normally open and Normally closed type)

Please short connection between
COM
end and
+12v
end. (The power of the
alarm detector should be provided by external power, the DVR gives +12V
power but if it provides power for more than two alarm detectors, it may affect the
normal working of the DVR.).
·
Please parallel connect the Ground of the DVR with the ground of the alarm
detector
·
Please connect the NC port of the alarm sensor to the DVR alarm input(ALARM)
·
If you need to reset the alarm remotely, you have to supply the controllable 12 V
power of the DVR to the alarm detector, such as the smoke detector.
