What is WiFi 6?
WiFi 6 is also knows as 802.11ax. WFA (Wi-Fi Alliance) uses numbers to simplify the name of the standards.
WiFi 6 (11ax) features 1024-QAM which provides high-throughput in both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, and supports MU-MIMO & Orthogonal
Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) to improve the channel capacity and efficiency for enabling more clients to access the AP.
What is the difference between WiFi 6 and WiFi 5?
WiFi 6 operates in both the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands and features improvements in throughput, multiple-device support, and WiFi spectrum efficiency.
WiFi 6 also increases the number of devices that can connect and simultaneously benefit from high speed wireless networks.
