If necessary, remove the spacer ring (2) from the engine.
Valve clearance:
Intake valve (IN)
0.15 mm (0.006 in)
Exhaust valve (EX)
0.20 mm (0.008 in)

Unscrew the fastening screws for the cylinder head cover.

NOTICE!
Components may get damaged!
–
Do not apply force to remove the cylinder
head cover.
Insert a screwdriver into the recess and lever the cylinder
head cover carefully off.
3.
Check the cylinder head cover for damage.
4.
Replace a damaged or bent cylinder head cover.
