Appendix C:
Product Support
Warranty
These products shall be warranted for a period of one year from the date of
shipping. This warranty shall cover all hardware repairs for the base unit and
battery, excluding theft or loss. Disassembly of the product will void said
warranty. During the warranty period, if it has been determined that there is a
defect as described above, the merchandise will be repaired or replaced, as
determined by DynaVox Systems, without charge for parts, labor, or return
shipping to the customer.
You may extend coverage for your product by purchasing a
DynaCare
Service
Agreement Package. For more information, contact DynaVox Systems LLC.
Return and Exchange Policy
Should you need to return a purchased product, you may return it for a refund
or exchange within thirty (30) days from the original ship date. Customers
must contact DynaVox Systems’ Sales department to receive a return
authorization number before any product return or exchange. Shipping costs
associated with returns and exchanges are the customer’s responsibility, unless
the return is due to a product defect. Returned products must be in new
condition and available for resale.
Please Note:
Customers returning DynaWrite devices within 30 days are charged
a weekly restocking fee which is based on the time between shipment of the product
to the customer and the date the product was received by DynaVox Systems.
Because of our 30-day return/exchange policy, it is important that you check the
contents and operation of your products upon receipt. Should you encounter any
problems, please call our 800 number and speak to a representative from the
Customer Support department.
Note:
The policies described in this section apply only to devices
purchased in the US and Canada. For warranty information and
return and exchange policies in other countries, please contact your
local distributor.
