DynaWrite Reference Guide
The third port on the left side is a round 1/8-in stereo
speaker jack
,
which
can be used for either an auditory scanning speaker or
headset, or an
extra speaker to be used in
combination with the DynaWrite’s built-in
speaker. The speaker jack is also featured in
Figure 2
.
The next connector, depicted in
Figure 3
, is an eight pin mini-din
serial port
. This port can be used
to connect your device to
a
computer via serial cable
for backing
up,
restoring or upgrading DynaWrite
software. This port can
also be used
to connect your DynaWrite to a
printer.
The
dual USB host port
is on the far right
of the front side. This port should be
used as the host connection to other
equipment, such as phones, external
keyboards and printers. The dual USB
host port can be seen in
Figure 3
.
Finally, two 1/8-inch
switch jacks
can be
found on the right side of the device.
