U.S. TV program ratings
In addition to the primary ratings, some ratings let you block certain
types of content.

TV-Y
All children.
TV-Y7
Children 7 and over. May include
comic violence.
TV-G
General audience. Contains little or
no violence, strong language, or
sexual dialog or situations.
TV-PG
Parental guidance suggested. May
contain mild violence, sexual dialog
or situations, and coarse language.
TV-14
Parents strongly cautioned. May
contain sexual content, strong
language, and intense violence.
TV-MA
Mature audiences only. May contain
sexual violence, explicit sexual
content, and profane language.
