• The device is designed to run from two 1.5V AA (LR6) batteries. It cannot be used with a mains connector, a
mains adaptor or any other type of battery. Remove the batteries immediately when they have run down.
Take care to insert new batteries correctly - the polarity is noted on the device - and do not mix different
battery brands or old and new batteries. The use of alkaline batteries is recommended for a longer battery
life.
• If you do not use the appliance for a longer period of time (more than 1 month) then please remove the
batteries from the battery holder. If you do not do this, corrosive chemicals may escape from the batteries
and damage the appliance.
• If the device doesn’t work when you switch it on, make sure the batteries have been inserted correctly and
are touching the contacts at the ends of the battery compartment.
• The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage caused by improper use of the device. Always test the
device on a hidden area of fabric before continuing.
• Never use the device on clothes that are damp or being worn.
• Take care to avoid dropping the device or letting anything fall on it. In particular, always protect the metal
shaver screen from potential damage.
• Attention! The appliance must not be disassembled, its casing must not be removed, or its repair attempted.
There are no parts inside the appliance that could be home repaired or used for any other purpose. In the
case of any defect of the appliance please have it repaired only by an authorised special service station. The
manufacturer does not undertake any warranty for any improper attempt at repair, or any intervention
performed by unauthorised persons.

which could result in electrical contact failure or even complete breakdown, and could also
damage the plastic and rubber elements.
