Cleaning and care recommendations

Your scooter needs minimal cleaning for its care and maintenance. Follow a regular cleaning schedule.

EXTERIOR SURFACES

Bumpers, rims and trimmers can improve your appearance with a slight application of brightener or conditioner

CLEANING AND DISINFECTION

Use a soft, non-abrasive cleaning cloth and product to clean the plastic and metal components of the scooter. Avoid using products that can scratch

the surface of the scooter.

If necessary, clean with an approved disinfectant product. Make sure the disinfectant is safe for application and use.

BATTERY CONNECTIONS OR TERMINALS

Make sure the battery terminals remain tight and are not corroded.

WIRING

Regularly check cable connections.

Check the insulation of the wiring, including those of the charger for any damage.

Have the service replace the damaged wiring before using the scooter again.

ABS PLASTIC COVERS

The plastic covers are made of ABS and are polished with a urethane paint. A light application of car wax can help keep the covers very shiny.

AXLE AND MOTOR GEARS.

These elements are pre-lubricated, sealed and do not require subsequent lubrication.

BRUSH MOTOR

The engine brushes are embedded within the engine assembly. They must be periodically checked in an official service.

DANGER.

Do not apply these products to the seat or tire as they can become dangerously slippery.

DANGER.

Follow the instructions in the manual for use of the disinfectant before applying it. Failure to observe these indications can result in

skin irritation or deterioration of some scooter surfaces such as seat upholstery and other finishes.
