Motor Installation - Firewall Mount

Phillips screwdriver: #1
Flat blade screwdriver: 1.5mm

1. Use a #1 Phillips screwdriver to remove the three
screws holding the cowl to the fuselage. Set the
screws and cowl aside.
You can also remove the pushrods from the tubes in
the fuselage at this time to keep them from sliding out
and getting bent. Both pushrods are the same length so
returning them to their proper locations is not an issue.
2. The motor shaft must be repositioned to accept
the propeller adapter. Follow the instructions
provided with the motor to reposition the motor
shaft. Use care not to damage the motor.
Always use threadlock on metal-to-metal fasteners
to prevent them from vibrating loose.
3. Attach the mount to the motor using the
setscrew provided with the motor. Use a 1.5mm
flat screwdriver to tighten the setscrew.
