When using tools some safety precautions must be observed to prevent injuries
and damage. Therefore read through the operating manual/ safety instructions
carefully. Store them in a safe place so that the information is available to you at
all times. If you should hand the appliance on to other persons please hand
these operating instructions/safety instructions out with them. We do not assume
any liability for accident or damage which do not arise due to the failure to
observe these instructions and the safety instructions.
General safety instructions
Attention! All instructions must be read. Errors in heeding the instructions given below
could cause electric shock, burning and/or serious injuries.
The subsequently used term „power tool“ refers to mains powered electrical tools (with
power cord) and to battery-powered electrical tools (without power cord).
Keep these instructions in a safe place!
1. Work area
a. Keep your work area clean and well-lit. Untidiness and unlighted workspaces can
lead to accidents.
b. Do not work with this device in an explosive environment where flammable
liquids, gasses or dusts are located. Electrical tools produce sparks that can ignite
dust or fumes.
c. Keep children and other persons at a safe distance when using the electric tool.
Distractions can cause you to lose control of the device.
2. Electrical safety
a. The connector plug of the device must fit into the power outlet. The plug cannot
be modified in any way. Do not use adapter plugs in conjunction with grounded
devices. Unaltered plugs and suitable power outlets reduce the risk of electric shock.
b. Avoid physical contact with grounded surfaces, such as pipes, heaters, stoves,
and refrigerators. Increased risk of electric shock exists when your body is grounded.
c. Keep the device away from rain or moisture. The penetration of moisture into an
electric device increases the risk of electric shock.
d. Do not use the cable for any purpose other than its intended purpose; do not
use the cable to carry or hang up the device; do not pull the plug out of the
power outlet via the cable. Keep the cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges, or
moving device parts. Damaged or tangled cables increase the risk of electric shock.
