(3) Celsius / Fahrenheit
• Press “°C /°F” button (B7) to select Indoor/Outdoor Temperature in Celsius mode or
Fahrenheit mode.
• If the temperature is out of the measurable range, LL.L (beyond the minimum
temperature) or HH.H (beyond the maximum temperature) will be shown on the LCD.
9. Time and Alarm Setting
9.1 Radio Controlled Clock:
•
After batteries inserted and main unit inishes receiving the transmissions from
outdoor thermo sensor, the clock automatically starts to scan the DCF time
signal. Radio Control Icon “
” (A12) lashes on LCD.
• The clock automatically scans the time signal at 3.00 a.m. every day to maintain
accurate time keeping. If reception fail, scanning stops (“ ” on LCD disappear) and
repeats again at 4.00 a.m, 5a.m, and 6 a.m.
• The clock can be set to scan the time signal manually by holding “
” button (B4) for
3 seconds. Each reception takes about 5 minutes. If reception fail, scanning stops
(“ ” disappear on the LCD) and repeats again at next hour. E.g. scanning failed at
8:20a.m., it will scan again at 9:00a.m.
• Stop scanning by holding “
” button (B4) for 3 seconds.
• “DST” shown on the LCD if it is in Daylight Saving Time Mode
Note:
“MODE/SET” (B1), “+/(12/24)” (B2), “AL ON/OFF” (B3) & “SNZ/LIGHT” Buttons
(B5) will not function while scanning for DCF time signal unless they are well received or
stopped manually.
9.2 Manual Time Setting:
• Hold “MODE/SET” button (B1) for 3 seconds to enter Clock/Calendar setting mode.
• Press “+” (B2) or “-” (B4) button to adjust the setting and press “MODE/SET” button
(B1) to conirm each setting.
• The setting sequence is shown as follow: Hour, Minutes, Second, Year, Month/Day
sequence, Month, Day, Time Zone, Day-of-week language.
• 8 languages can be selected in Day-of-week, they are: German, French, Spanish,
Italian, Dutch, Denmark, Russian, and English.

9.4 Snooze Alarm Clock Function:

• When viewing Alarm Time 1 or Alarm Time 2, hold “MODE/SET” button (B1) for 3
seconds to enter that Alarm Time setting. Press “+” (B2) or “-” (B4) buttons to adjust
the alarm time, press “MODE/SET” button (B1) to conirm the setting.
• When viewing Alarm Time 1 or Alarm Time 2, press “ALARM ON/OFF” (B3) button to
switch that alarm ON or OFF. If it is on, alarm icon “
” or “
”shown on the LCD.
• When Alarming, press any of “MODE/SET” (B1), “+ (12/24)” (B2), “AL ON/OFF” (B3),
or “-/
” (B4) button to stop the alarm.
• When Alarming, press “SNOOZE / LIGHT” button (B5) to activate the snooze alarm,
alarm icon ( “
” or “
” ) lashes on LCD. The alarm will snooze for 5 minutes,
then it alarms again. This snooze function can be enabled for maximum 7 times.
• Press any of “MODE/SET” (B1), “+ (12/24)” (B2), “AL ON/OFF” (B3), or “-” (B4) button
to stop the snooze alarm.
• The languages and their selected abbreviations for each day of the week are shown in
the following table.
• The Time zone is used for the countries where can receive the DCF time signal but the
time zone is different from the German time.
• When the country time is faster than the German time for 1 hour, the zone should
be set to +1. Then the clock will automatically set 1 hour faster from the signal time
received.
Note:
(1) Second adjusted to zero only.
(2) The Time Setting Mode will automatically exit in 15 seconds without any adjustment.
9.3 12/24 Hour Display mode:
Press “+(12/24)” button (B2) to select 12 or 24 hours mode.
