To select a IDR
IDO 3G channel, carry out the following procedure (see Figure 3.3):
• Click on the
{Transmission}
tab.
• In the
{Channel}
field, click on the

arrows to select the channel range
required.
• Select the private channel or absolute channel required from the lists.
Note:
The channel list is defined and configured in the TPS according to the project
and the network.
• Click on the
[Validate changes]
button to confirm the select and send the configuration
information to the IDR
IDO 3G.
The channel selected is displayed in the state bar at the bottom of the "Channel:"
screen.
• Click on the
[Cancel changes]
button to change nothing in the configuration.

Selecting the transmit power level
There are four power levels: 1.5 W, 4 W, 10 W and 15 W.
To select a IDR
IDO 3G transmission power level, carry out the following procedure
(see Figure 3.3):
• Click on the
{Transmission}
tab.
• In the
{Transmission power}
field, select the required transmission power level from
the list.
• Click on the
[Validate changes]
button to confirm the select and send the configuration
information to the IDR
IDO 3G.
The power level selected is displayed in the state bar at the bottom of the "Tx Pwr"
screen.
• Click on the
[Cancel changes]
button to change nothing in the configuration.

Enabling / disabling transmission
To activate / deactivate the IDR
IDO 3G transmission, carry out the following procedure
(see Figure 3.3):
• Click on the
{Transmission}
tab.
• In the
{Transmission state}
field, select
[On]
or
[Off]
.
• Click on the
[Validate changes]
button to confirm the select and send the configuration
information to the IDR
IDO 3G.
The transmission state selected is displayed in the state bar at the bottom of the
"Transmission:" screen.
The yellow TX LED of the 3G PA-TRX module indicating the transmission state lights up
or switches off.
The green TX LED of the duplexer indicating the transmission state lights up. If no fault
appears, the alarm loop closes.
• Click on the
[Cancel changes]
