Conventions used in the sheets
• The tools (standard tools, torque wrench, etc.) are listed at the beginning of the sheet,
but are not detailed in each step of the procedure.
• The time required is the approximate time taken to complete the procedure; when there
are cross-references to other sheets, the times must be added together to arrive at the
total time required to carry out the operation.
However, the duration does not include the time required to prepare the procedure
(preparation of tools, etc.).
• The cable references (W and/or HG number) are not always given in the sheets: to
connect the sub-assemblies to be installed, the operator should refer to the labels
attached to the cables and, if necessary, to the wiring diagrams in Plate 6.VII and
4.5.3.3
Instructions
• Observe the safety precautions (see Section 4.1).
• Respect the tightening torques when carrying out each operation. If no tightening torque
is given, the part concerned should be tightened by hand.
• When refitting a sub-assembly or a cable:
- Route the cables so as not to nip them.
- Pay attention to the connector locating pins when plugging in.
- Make sure the cables are connected properly and that the connector locking devices
are in place.
• In the event of damage to a mechanical component (screws and bolts, brackets, etc.)
during a maintenance operation, refer to Document [4] (see Section 1.3) for the
reference of the part to be replaced.
