EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION
2.2.1
General description
The IDR IDO 3G is presented as a rack in 19” format, comprising principally:
• 1 front panel (detailed in Section 2.2.1.1) protected by 1 clear protection cover (item 13),
with:
- 1 or 2 duplexers (antenna diversity option) (items 9 and 10),
- 1 RF power divider (if antenna diversity option) (item 11),
- 1 3G PA-TRX module (item 12),
- 1 primary converter (item 14).
- 3 interface dials:
X
"LOCAL" with PWR and EXT. LED,
X
"DISTANT" with 1 RJ45 CTRL connector and 1 SYNC output,
X
"ALARM" with 1 ALARM connector and FAN and SYNC LED.
• 1 removable upper lid (item 1) to access the inside of the rack,
• 2 sides (item 6) with standard 29" mounting brackets for installation in a cabinet,
• 1 antenna with a magnetic base and its coaxial cable (see Section 2.2.2.8),
• 1 mains power supply cable for 100-240 V AC power supply (see Section 2.2.2.8),
• 1 direct power supply cable for 12-24 V DC power supply (see Section 2.2.2.8),
• 1 rear side (detailed in Section 2.2.1.2) with a fan plate (item 16), secured by 2 captive
screws (item 15) and an earth stud (item 17).
The inside of the rack comprises (Plate 6.III):
• 1 synchronisation board (item 1),
• Inter-board cables and modules (see Section 4.6.2).
