6. TROUBLE SHOOTING

The turntable rotates in
one direction or doesn’t
rotate.
Reverse switch broken.
Replace the reverse switch.
The belt is broken.
Replace the belt.
The motor’s malfunction.
Check the motor cable or
terminal block wire. Replace the
motor if it is broken.
Demount or fix the wheel,
the turntable can’t lock
(spin with wheel). The
jaws delay to open/close.
The turntable locks the
rim incorrectly.
There is a leak in the air network.
Check all parts on the air
network.
The clamping cylinder doesn’t work.
Replace the cylinder piston.
The jaws are worn.
Replace the jaws.
Broken washers of the chuck cylinder.
Replace the washers/cylinder.
The mounting head/
demounting head touches
the rim during operation.
The locking plate is incorrectly
adjusted or unqualified.
Replace or adjust it.
Screws on the chuck are loose or the
vertical arm can’t be locked by the
locking plate.
Tighten the screws; replace the
locking plate.
The bead breaker pedal
and jaw open and close
but the pedal can’t return
to the original position.
The pedal spring is broken.
Replace the pedal spring.
The bead breaker shovel is
difficult to operate.
The silencer is jammed.
Clean it or replace the silencer.
The washer on the bead breaker
cylinder is broken.
Replace it.
