16. Cleaning the Fluid Tip and Needle
1) Unscrew Air Cap Ring (Fig. 9, 1)
2) Remove Spray Direction Lever (Fig. 9, 3)
3) It is recommended that you push the trigger forward to help release the Fluid Tip (Fig. 9, 4)
4) Using the Needle and Fluid Tip Tool - pincer end (Fig. 10, 1) remove the Fluid Tip
(Fig. 10, 2)
5) Insert the Needle and Fluid Tip end (Fig. 10, 1) into the inner tube and unscrew the
Needle anticlockwise, then pull to release the Needle (Fig. 10)
6) Place all of these items into a container and clean, then using a brush and the
respective thinners
7) Clean the inside of the body of the gun
8) Thoroughly dry these parts before reassembling
9) Reassemble parts in reverse order. (Fig. 11)
10) Ensure the Air Cap Ring (Fig. 9, 1) is fully tightened and the Fluid Tip (Fig. 9, 4) is
pushed into place so that the Needle (Fig. 9, 5) will shut off
Note: Ensure the Spray Direction Lever (Fig. 9, 3) is free to move. If necessary loosen the
Air Cap Ring (Fig. 9, 1) slightly.
NEVER DISPOSE OF PAINTS OR SOLVENTS DOWN THE DRAIN. ALWAYS USE YOUR
LOCAL WASTE COLLECTION SITE.
17. Maintenance
1) Ensure the Filter (Fig. 12 A) is kept clean at all times.
2) This can be washed out if necessary and replaced when dry. From time to time this
filter will need replacing.
3) The turbine bearings are sealed and lubricated for life. There is no maintenance or
adjustment required.
4) Clean the turbine and hose unit with a damp cloth after use.
WARNING! Never operate the machine without the air filter fitted; otherwise
dirt could be sucked in and impair the function of the machine.
