What is Remote Reset?
Remote Reset allows you to remotely trigger a reset of the Totaliza on on your Digital
Electronics. This feature is similar to pressing the RESET Bu on from the TOP.RUN page. The
Remote Reset can be u lized by installing a remote push bu on on/o
ff
switch (customer
supplied). To properly wire the push bu on on/o
ff
switch for Remote Reset Capabili es,
please see the Wiring Customer Connec ons sec on of Chapter 1.
Enabling the Remote Reset Capability
Once the switch is wired properly, you
must enable the Remote Reset. To
enable the Remote Reset Capability,
access the I/O Menu from the
TOP.MENU page and click on the
REMOTE RESET Bu on. You should
now see the page shown to the right.
To enable Remote Reset, simply press
the ENABLE BUTTON. If enabled, the
word “Yes” will be displayed to the right
of the bu on.
The Type Bu on allows you to toggle
between Remote Reset, Remote Zero or
both simultaneously.
The logic of the Remote Reset Capability can also be manipulated. If the LOGIC Bu on is
pressed, a dialog box will prompt you to chose from two op ons, “NC” or “NO”. The op ons
are described below.
