To avoid serious injury or death, malfunction
or damage to property, use the appliance only
for its intended use and always follow the
Instructions.
Read all instructions carefully before use and save for future reference.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
1. Operate the appliance only on a flat surface.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. For carrying, use handles or knobs.
NEVER lift the appliance by the power cord. Use two hands to hold
the handles when moving the appliance.
3. Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use.
4. Do not operate the appliance continuously for more than 40 hours.
After using the appliance, turn the appliance off, unplug it and let it
cool. Improper use of the appliance can cause damage to the unit
and possible injury or even death to the user.
5. Do not cover the appliance during use or after use until thoroughly
cooled.
6. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs or
housing in water or other liquid.
7. Close supervision by an able adult is required when any appliance
is used by or near children.
8. Never pull on the cord to disconnect from an outlet. Instead, grasp
the plug and pull to disconnect.
9. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or
after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any
manner. If you suspect it has been damaged, return the appliance
to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or
adjustment.
10. The housing of the appliance, cords or plugs must not come in
contact with or be immersed in water or other liquid. Do not use the
appliance if it is wet or with wet hands.
11. Before connecting the appliance to the main supply, check that the
voltage on the rating label corresponds with the voltage in your
home.
12. Using attachments or accessories not recommended or sold by the
appliance manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
13. Always unplug the appliance from outlet when not in use, before
putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning. Allow to cool
before putting on or taking off parts.
14. Do not let cord hang over the edge of any work space, or touch hot
surfaces.
15. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated
oven.
