Assemble the Main Frame

.1 

Using 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" pressure-treated lumber, install the beams using the drawing below as a 

reference. You will need two boards cut to 5'-8 1/2" that will be studs and two boards cut to 5'-5" that will 

be horizontal girts.

Secure the beams to the bottom rails with 5", 2" wood screws and 3" x 3" corner brackets.

Using a speed square or carpenter's square, check the corners to make sure they are 90°.
