The figure below shows the location of the major components and controls of the EZ green.  You
should become familiar with these before operating the laminator.

The Easy-Lam

green

laminator is designed specifically to provide energy savings to your

organization. Easy-Lam

green

saves energy in two important ways:

Standby mode brings thermostat down from laminating temperature of 300°F to
150°F while machine is not being used resulting in an energy savings of over
50%. (Warm-up time from 150°F back to laminating temperature of 300°F is only
7 minutes).

One hour auto shutoff shuts the machine down resulting in further energy
savings when the machine is not in use.

Motor Switch:

This three position (FWD/OFF/REV) switch controls power to the Laminating

Rollers.  If the switch is pressed to the FWD position the rollers move forward, pulling the plastic
film and laminated material past the Heat Shoes.

When this switch is pressed to the REV position the rollers move in the reverse direction.  This is
useful for clearing film from the rollers.

Heater Switch:

This switch turns power to the top and bottom Heat Shoes on, off or to standby.
