straps are colour coded. Green (starboard) right hand and red (port) left
hand when viewed from the pilots flight ready position.
The following colour code is used:
Right side
=
green marking
Left side
=
red marking
If the Easy Quick towline release device is twisted or attached incorrectly,
this could lead to a dangerous situation and attendant difficulty to release
the towline under load, therefore you have to check the proper
functioning of the Easy Quick towline release as part of a pre-flight check
(On ground release check)!
5. Towline attachment
The “Easy Quick T2” system can be connected quickly and easily to the
towline.
By pulling back the sliding sleeve the attachment lug is exposed. After
threading the Easy Quick T2towline release line through the towline end
fitting, hang the release line loop over the lug. By pushing the sliding
sleeve forward, the device is closed and ready for use. The process of
attachment is shown in figures 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3.
