clears the lug and releases the towline (see chapter 5).
8. Care and maintenance
The
“Easy Quick T” system is maintenance-free. Nevertheless you have
to check periodically the following things
:
Is any of the stitching damaged?
Do the release lines have any cracks or damages?
Is the location of the sliding sleeve correct?
To maintain the working life of the clamping sleeve you should minimize
mechanical stress on the straps and loops. Particular attention must be
paid to the avoidance of dirt in the sliding sleeve, otherwise wear is to be
expected.
Clean only with tepid water
– not more than 40deg C. Aggressive cleansing
agents must not be used at any time
.
Note:
In order to keep the frictional forces low on
the
Easy
Quick
towline
release,
it
is
recommended to tow only with a leader line that is
equipped with a ring or metal link. With fibre
suspension loops, wear and tear on the quick
release line and towline is increased, resulting in
premature failure.
