Cleaning and Maintenance
CAUTION:
Always be sure that the air pu fan is OFF and unplugged from the power
source before cleaning or attempting to store the item.
DO NOT IMMERSE THE
AIR PU FAN IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
1.
Clean the air pu fan once a month to ensure there is no dust build up
that can affect the performance of the fan.
2.
Before cleaning, turn the air pu fan off and unplug from electrical
outlet.
3.
Once unplugged, the exterior of the unit may be cleaned by wiping with a
lightly damp cloth. Wipe off excess dust with a lint free cloth.
4.
If you wish to lightly clean the inside of the air purifier, remove HEPA filter,
and only use a dry, soft cloth to lightly wipe it down.
5.
A vacuum cleaner brush attachment can be used to clean the fan guards. This
will help remove lint and dirt from inside the fan.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE THE FAN APART.
NOTE:
A can of compressed air may also be used to help push any excess dirt
out of the fan and into the vacuum cleaner.
6.
DO NOT immerse the air pu fan in water and never allow water to enter
the motor housing.
7.
DO NOT allow water to get into the intake and outlet grills.
8.
DO NOT use gasoline, paint thinner or other chemicals to clean the air purifier
+ fan.
DO NOT USE ANY ABRASIVE MATERIAL TO CLEAN THE SURFACE!
