Date Input:
Select Set and press MENU to set it. Press UP/DOWN to choose YYYY/MM/DD mode.
Press ON/OFF/ESC shortly, then UP/DOWN, then ON/OFF/ESC again to set data. Press MENU to
confirm and exit.
USB Mode
Connect to computer using the USB cable, [My computer] will show it is as removable disk, so the files
can be downloaded and will be stored at; Removable Disk\ DCIM\100DSCIM.
Note:
1)
Please insert the SD/MMC card before recording.
It records in cycle of your choice of 2, 5 or 15 minutes. When the storage medium is full, it will record
from the beginning again and erase over the previously recorded material automatically. It will leave a 3
seconds pause between recordings.

The Black Box operates off DC 5V so please use the car charger supplied.
Trouble Shooting:
Your Black Box is very similar to a computer. If, for any reason it stalls during operation, turn it off and on
and it will most likely resolve the problem. If this doesn’t work, you need to RESET (reboot).
To Reboot:
Look for the small (1mm) reset hole, into which you can gently insert a toothpick, or end of
straightened paper-clip. Once inserted, push gently when you feel the reset button. This will effectively
reboot the ‘computer’.
In Night Vision mode:
beware that when it focuses on an object with a reflective surface, like glass,
refection can occur.
