Do not use the article if it, the mains adapter or the mains cable is damaged. Have
any repairs done only by a specialist workshop or the customer service department
in order to prevent any hazards.

The Proper Handling of Batteries

Use only the battery type speci

fi

ed in the technical data (see the "Technical Data"

chapter).

Take the battery out of the remote control when it is dead or if you will not be using the
article for a prolonged period. This will prevent any damage if a battery leaks.

If a battery has leaked, do not allow your skin, eyes and mucous membranes to come
into contact with the battery acid. If you touch battery acid, rinse the affected sites
with abundant fresh water immediately and contact a doctor as soon as possible.

Remove a dead battery from the battery compartment immediately. Clean the con-
tacts before a new battery is inserted.

The battery must not be charged or reactivated in any way, disassembled, thrown into

fi

re, immersed in liquids or short-circuited.

Avoiding Damage to Material, Property and the Article

The article must be switched off when the mains adapter is pulled out or inserted into
the plug socket. Always pull the mains adapter and never the mains cable to discon-
nect it from the mains power.

Protect the article from heat, naked

fl

ames, extreme temperatures and weather con-

ditions (e.g. thunderstorm, storm, hail), persistent moisture and collisions.

Do not place or lie any heavy objects on the article, the mains adapter or the mains
cable.

Make sure that the glass cover is always clean. Clean it with a damp cloth from time
to time.

Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the arti-

cle!

 They could damage the surface.

Before drilling, ensure that there are no pipes or cables behind the intended drilling
point.

Use suitable fastening material to attach it to a wall and seek advice from a specialist
retailer if necessary.

When the article is not being used, keep it out of the reach of children and animals in
a cool, dry place which is protected from direct sunlight.
