Step 2: Charge the battery 

To achieve the fastest charge, 
ensure the camcorder is switched 
off during charging. 

 

It is possible to charge the 
camcorder during recording or 
playback however the charging 

time will be longer than if the 
camera was switched off. 

 

The device should only be charged 
via the USB port of a computer or 
USB power supply with a 
maximum output of 1050mAh. 

 

Open the battery compartment cover. 

 

Connect the USB cable supplied to the USB port 

 

Connect the other end of the USB cable into your 
computer or AC adaptor to start the charging cycle. 

 

The ‘CHG’ charging LED [7] will illuminate while the 
device is charging. 

Charging is complete when the ‘CHG’ LED switches 
off.
