Replacing the Batteries:

1.  Unplug the cord of the spot light from the solar panel.
2.  Remove the screws from the battery cover on the back of the solar panel by us-

ing a phillips screwdriver (figure 4).

3.  Carefully remove the batteries and replace with new batteries in the same ori-

entation and of the same model and type. Do not mix old and new batteries or 
different types: i.e. alkaline, standard-carbon/zinc, rechargeable nickel cadmium 
or nickel metal hydride (figure 5).

4.  Replace the gasket and battery cover, reconnect the light to the solar panel.

Replacing the Bulb:

1.  Unplug the cord of the spot light from the solar panel.
2.  Turn the lamp retaining ring counter clockwise and then remove it (figure 6).
3.  Remove the lens and then remove the bulb from the light socket (figure 7).
4.  Insert a new bulb of the same model and power rating (figure 8).
  NOTE: Use only a 12 volt DC, 3 watt LED bulb, model MR-16 LED.
5.  Replace the lens and the lamp retaining ring onto the light base. Make certain 

that the sealing ring is positioned correctly between the lamp housing and the 
lens. Twist clockwise and lock the plastic cover into position (figure 9).

6.  Plug the light cord into the solar panel.

Care & Maintenance:

1.  Regular cleaning of the solar panel and light covers may be necessary depending upon the environment in which they will be 

used.

2.  Clean the solar panel and light cover when the surfaces are visibly soiled or when a drop in performance is detected.
3.  Use any gentle house hold cleaner and a soft brush or cloth to clean the light and solar panel.

Trouble Shooting:

If the light fails to operate -
1.  Be sure that the solar panel is clear of obstruction or dirt.
2.  Be sure that the power cord is connected to the solar panel.
3.  Check the batteries to make sure they are making full contact with terminal.

Limited Warranty:

This limited warranty is for any mechanical or material defects for a period of one year from the date of purchase (bulbs are a 
wear item and are not covered by warranty). Limited warranty only covers properly installed and maintained units.
The warranty does not cover bulbs, normal wear and tear, nor any deterioration suffered through overloading, improper use, negli-
gence or accident. Similarly, any modification made by the purchaser to the product will cause the warranty to be null and void. 
All returned items will be inspected to determine cause of failure before warranty is approved.
Warranty does not cover any cost associated with the installation or removal of the product subject to warranty claim.
An RA number must be obtained by calling EasyPro Pond Products at 800-448-3873. It is your responsibility to pay the return 
shipping charges. Be sure to include the RA number, original receipt (in the form of an invoice or sales receipt), name, return ad-
dress and phone number inside of the package. No warranty claims will be honored without the original receipt.
Ensure the product is properly packaged and insured for the replacement value. Damage due to improper packaging is the re-
sponsibility of the sender. 
The manufacturer or supplier shall not be held liable for any damages caused by defective components or materials of this prod-
uct; or for loss incurred because of the interruption of service; or any consequential/incidental damages and expenses arising 
from the production, sale, use or misuse of this product.  
The manufacturer or supplier shall not be held liable for any loss of fish, plants or any other livestock as a result of any failure or 
defect of this product.
