Making Connections
After the required number of disks have been installed, external connections to the disk array
system must be made. This section describes how to make all of the necessary connections.
Connecting the Host Interface
The disk array system has either dual iSCSI 1Gb interfaces or dual fibre channel interfaces. Refer
to the following sections to make host interface connections.
Internet Small Computer Systems Interface
The easyRAID Q16QS-4GR3 has network cable interfaces. Follow these instructions to make
connections.

Connect the SCSI terminator (
A
) to the right connector of the easyRAID Q16QS-4GR3
host port 1 (primary iSCSI channel) at the rear of the disk array system.
Connecting a network
Connect the network cable to the RJ-45 port at the rear of the unit.
