-

do not  dispose of  bat t eries in a f ire.  The bat t eries may explode.

-

bat t eries const it ut e a danger (elect rical shock,  burns).  The short -circuit  current  may be very high.

Precaut ions must  be t aken f or all handling:

Wear rubber gloves and boot s.

Do not  lay t ools or met al part s on t op of  bat t eries.

The UPS connect ion inst ruct ions and operat ion described in t he manual must  be f ollowed in t he indicat ed
order.

A prot ect ion circuit  breaker must  be inst alled upst ream  and be easily accessible.   The syst em can be
disconnect ed f rom t he AC power source by unplugging t he input  cable.

Check t hat  t he indicat ions on t he rat ing plat e correspond t o your AC powered syst em and t o  t he act ual

For PLUGGABLE EQUIPMENT,  t he socket -out let  shall be inst alled near t he equipment  and shall  be easily
accessible

Never inst all t he syst em near liquids or in an excessively damp environment .

Never let  a f oreign body penet rat e inside t he syst em.

Never block t he vent ilat ion grat es of  t he syst em.

Never expose t he syst em t o direct  sunlight  or source of  heat .

If  t he syst em must  be st ored prior t o inst allat ion,  st orage must  be in a dry place.

The admissible st orage t emperat ure range is -15 t o +50 ° C /  5 t o 122 ° F.

The syst em is not  f or use in a comput er room.

All handling operations will require at least two people (unpacking,  installation in rack system).

Bef ore and af t er t he inst all at ion,  if  t he UPS remains de-energized f or a long period,  t he UPS must  be
energized f or a period of  24 hours,  at  least  once every 6 mont hs (f or a normal st orage t emperat ure  less
t han 25 ° C /  77 ° F).  This charges t he bat t ery,  t hus avoiding possible irreversible damage.

During t he replacement  of  t he Bat t ery Module,  it  is imperat ive t o use t he same t ype and number of
