The IBCs use natural convection cooling to regulate internal component temperature. Air inlets are in the front
of the cabinet and outlets are on the back or top of the cabinet. Allow clearance in front of, and on back or top
of the cabinet for proper air circulation. The clearances required around the IBC cabinet are shown in

CAUTION
The shelf life for the batteries installed in the IBC are 6 months from the date code on the battery for the B37
batteries, 8 months from the date code on the battery for the E28, E39 and E54 batteries and 24 months from
the date code on the battery for the N54 and H41 batteries. The recharge date is also stated on a label inside
the IBC.
Failure to recharge the batteries before the expiration of the shelf life will result in reduced discharge time,
shorter float service life, and will void the warranty.
