This cap can only be installed or removed when the
equipment is de-energised.
• This protective cap kit includes the following:
– DRC250 receptacle cap
– Bail Assembly
– Plastic Line
– Silicone Lubricant
– Paper Towel
– Installation Instructions
Installation procedure
Step 1
Clean and lubricate the bushing interface, using the supplied
lubricant.
Step 2
Apply a thin layer of the supplied silicone lubricant to the
internal interface of the cap.
Step 3
Insert the plastic line into the cap and push the cap onto the
bushings.
Step 4
Slowly, remove the plastic line while holding the cap on the
bushing.
Step 5
Hook the legs of the bail onto the bail tabs.
Step 6
Tighten the eyebolt of the bail until tight.
Step 7
Attach an earth wire through the hole in the cap to the
earth bus.
